Today the Penn State Nittany Lions extended a new offer to a class of 2016 prospect. Phillip Academy (IL) 3-star defensive tackle Amir Watts was offered by the Nittany Lion staff today, and, according to Scout.com’s Alan Trieu, Penn State’s staff will pay an in home visit to Watts tomorrow.
The six-foot-three, 270 pound Watts holds offers from Indiana, Iowa State, Miami, Minnesota, and Pitt among others. Watts currently has an official visit planned for each remaining weekend between now and National Signing Day. However, you can rest assured the coaching staff will do all they can to get Watts to cancel one of his official visits for a Penn State visit instead this month.
