Penn State's Saquon Barkley added another accolade to his resume today when the Associated Press named him a third-team All-American.
The sophomore is the first Nittany Lion running back to receive All-America honors since Larry Johnson in 2002 and the first offensive player to gain the recognition since Allen Robinson made the first team and John Urschel made the third team in 2013.
Previously, Barkley earned a spot on The Sporting News' All-America second team and the coaches' and media's All-Big Ten first team, making him a unanimous first team pick. He also took home the Graham-George Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and Ameche-Dayne Big Ten Running Back of the Year awards this season.
