STATE COLLEGE -- Well, it's finally Penn State-Pittsburgh game day at Beaver Stadium. The weather is perfect, hovering somewhere in the mid-60s and it looks like it will be a packed house. Here are some of my pregame observations ...
MILLER IN UNIFORM: Penn State third-year defensive end Shareef Miller is dressed an taking part in warmups. Miller, a starter, left the Akron game early with an apparent lower-leg injury. He was replaced by Ryan Buchholz, who played very well in his absence.
ANDREW NELSON SET TO DEBUT?: Penn State veteran offensive tackle Andrew Nelson didn't play in the Lions' 52-0 victory over Akron but he is warming up at right tackle with PSU's second team.
