Penn State will look for victory number two of the season next Saturday afternoon against the Ball State Cardinals.
After knocking off No. 12 Wisconsin, 16-10, the Nittany Lions enter week two as 20.5-point favorites over the defending MAC Champions per Vegas Insider.
The Cardinals enter week two off the back of a 31-21 win over FCS opponent Western Illinois. Next week’s game will be the first matchup between the two programs, but the Nittany Lions are 27-3 against opponents out of the MAC all-time. Their last loss to a MAC team came in 2012 when the Bill O’Brien era of Penn State Football began with a 24-14 loss to the Ohio Bobcats.
