Penn State heads back on the road this week after a convincing 39-0 home victory over Illinois last week. Sitting at 7-2 for the year, the Nittany Lions have been able to fight through inconsistent play and have started to show huge improvements. Next up is a game against the pesky Northwestern Wildcats.
These two teams met inside of Beaver Stadium last season and Northwestern was able to pull off the upset over an undefeated Penn State team. This time, Penn State enters the contest playing its best football of the year after playing what could be considered its best game under head coach James Franklin last week.
