The Big Ten teams joining the Nittany Lions are once again Oregon (Up to 2nd), Ohio State (Dropped two spots to 4th in the AP, three spots to 5th in Coaches), Indiana (Up to 16th in AP and 18th in Coaches), Illinois (21st in Coaches, 22nd in AP), Michigan (22nd in Coaches, 24th in AP), and newcomer Nebraska, who sits at 25th in the Coaches rankings.
