Although they won’t be facing each other for another 12 days, the kickoff time for Penn State and Michigan State was just announced, per a release from Penn State. The Nittany Lions and Spartans will kickoff from East Lansing at 3:30 PM ET on ABC.
Similar to Iowa in the 2000’s, Michigan State has proven to be an absolute thorn in Penn State’s side in the 2010’s. PSU is only 1-5 against Sparty this decade, including back-to-back losses where PSU was clearly the better team talent-wise, but could not put it together against Sparty thanks to costly mistakes, Mother Nature being unkind, and wide receivers named Felton Davis making spectacular plays.
