Just hours away from Happy Valley, Penn State took the court with the goal of winning its third straight EIVA Tournament title.
The Nittany Lions did just that on Saturday, sweeping Princeton to secure its third sweep of the EIVA Tournament and third straight EIVA title.
Penn State was first on the board with a kill from outside hitter Matthew Luoma. After Princeton matched with its own kill, the blue and white went on a 3-0 run with three straight attack errors from the Tigers.
However, back-to-back service and attack errors by Owen Rose and Will Kuhns gave Princeton two more points, cutting the deficit to one.
