With the 2025 season approaching, coach Mark Pavlik enters the season with a young and unproven group at the opposite hitter position.
At the conclusion of last season, the Nittany Lions lost their key opposite hitter in John Kerr, who led the team with 420 kills. He was the leader on the offensive attack and totaled 161 more kills than the next closest Nittany Lion.
Pavlik will look to a group of young returners and an experienced transfer to fill in for the hole left by Kerr.
