History was made at Rec Hall on Friday night.
For the first time in program history, No. 6 Penn State lost to St. Francis in four sets (21-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-23).
"I can say it feels really really good now," Red Flash coach Mike Rumbaugh said. "I know that Saint Francis was 0-37 coming in, and I think I'm 30 of those losses. So it felt really good to just get that monkey off my back and to do it at Penn State's even more special."

The Lions took the first set 25-21, capitalizing on sloppy play by the Red Flash in the opening set.
