Penn State men's volleyball falls to Stanford in three sets

Penn State’s non-conference spring break tournament brought the best of the west to Rec Hall, with both Stanford and No. 13 UCSB, who the Lions upset yesterday in four sets.

Coach Mark Pavlik said he appreciates the opportunity to play non-conference games whenever possible because facing off with a variety of non-conference competition always benefits the team's play, as the Nittany Lions approach the next cycle of EIVA games before the postseason.

Pavlik is taking this game as a chance to work on transition play.

“All in all, Stanford was more consistent than us, especially in transition,” Pavlik said.
