Nobody likes to go to work on a Monday. Workers sluggishly walking to the subway while drivers honking at every slow moving car, everyone disappointed that the weekend has ended.
No. 10 Penn State (13-6, 7-1) went to work on a Monday and broke its four game losing streak defeating No. 14 UC Irvine (7-15, 5-11) in four sets (23-25, 25-20, 25-16, 25-17).
“I actually thought it was Friday today, I got kind of confused,” Spencer Sauter said. “I got in the game-day groove and all I was focusing on was the game and not really what day it was on.
