Penn State began Wednesday night's matchup with Detroit Mercy looking much more comfortable in possession compared to recent games.
The result was 2-0 win over the Titans to snap the Nittany Lions' two-game losing streak.
The Nittany Lions began the night well by maintaining control of the ball despite intense pressure from the Titans. Penn State also showed fantastic attacking intent early on with three shots in the first 10 minutes (one on target, two off target).
As the game progressed, simple mistakes, such as misplaced passes and too much possession with no movement, allowed the Titans easy chances and the ability to regain some of the momentum.
