A 40-year career came to an end Thursday morning, as Penn State men’s soccer head coach Bob Warming announced his retirement.
Warming, who just finished his eighth season with the Nittany Lions, ranks No. 8 all time in wins, with 461. Prior to taking Penn State job, Warming coached at Creighton, Saint Louis, Old Dominion, Charlotte, Berry College and Transylvania.
Warming won a total of 28 conference championships in his coaching career, including back-to-back Big Ten titles in 2012 and 2013. In 2010 and 2013, Warming’s Penn State squads made appearances in the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA tournament.
