The Nittany Lions entered the match with a 23-12-4 advantage in their all-time series against Wisconsin, but the Badgers were quick to turn the tables.
An aggressive Wisconsin offense started strong, pressing Penn State’s back line from the opening minutes. In only the 6th minute, Penn State goaltender Andrew Cooke was forced to make a crucial save to keep his team level.
