Penn State men's soccer drops third-straight match in loss to No. 7 Ohio State

After losing its Big Ten opener to No. 16 Michigan, Penn State returned home to take on No. 7 Ohio State at Jeffrey Field.

The Nittany Lions fell to Ohio State, 5-0.

Tuesday night’s contest marked the 12th annual Mack Brady match, a tradition Penn State men’s soccer honors during its Big Ten home opener each year in memory of John William McKenzie “Mack” Brady.

Brady, who aspired to be Penn State’s starting goalkeeper and play for the U.S. Men’s National Team, passed away at the age of eight from a blood infection.

The blue and white started the match with five defenders at the back, very similar to its earlier match this season against No.
