Last Saturday against Robert Morris, Grant Ament got his collegiate career started with a bang.
Penn State won 20-7 and Ament scored two goals and had five assists in the rout.
That strong performance got him named Big Ten Freshman of the Week.
Ament's seven points tied him with TJ Sanders for the team best in the blowout win. Against the Colonials, five other Nittany Lions freshman scored goals too make for a strong opening outing all around for the class.
