Gerard Arceri is being recognized for his elite season.
Penn State's face-off specialist is one of 25 nominees for the Tewaaraton, which is the Heisman of lacrosse.
Arceri has been a huge difference maker for the Nittany Lions this season as he has won 69.8 percent of face-offs and collected 10.77 ground balls per game, both marks are fourth in the country and best in the Big Ten.
While he has been dealing with a lower body injury the last two games, Arceri has fought through it to still make a difference at the face-off X for the Nittany Lions.
