Even though Penn State fell short of making the post season, Gerard Arceri has been honored for his dominant year.
Arceri is the Big Ten Specialist of the Year after emerging as one of college lacrosse's elite face-off men this season. Arceri spent much of the season hovering around 70 percent at the X and finished the season winning 68.1 percent of face-offs to lead the Big Ten. Arceri also led the Big Ten with 10.36 ground balls per game. The Nittany Lions standout was also a threat to score off of clean wins as he had six goals and one assist in 14 games.
