After being selected in both the Major League Lacrosse and Premier Lacrosse League drafts, Penn State's Chris Sabia decided to sign with the upstart PLL.
Sabia was selected with the fourth pick of the second round by the Chrome Lacrosse Club in the PLL’s inaugural collegiate draft.
The defenseman served as one of three captains for Penn State in 2019. He was a four-year starter for the Nittany Lions.
Over the course of his career, Sabia scooped up 114 ground balls and caused 70 turnovers.
The PLL features six different clubs. They will all travel to different locations and play against one another over the course of the summer.
