Third-ranked Penn State had three games from the time the players walked out of their last classes last Friday until starting the second half of the semester on Monday morning.
The Nittany Lions had a top-10 matchup with Penn, a midweek game against Furman — both of which were in Happy Valley — and then a road trip to Cambridge, Massachusetts to take on Harvard.
They came out on top in all three to improve to a 7-0 record halfway through their season and just two games away from the start of Big Ten play.
Typically, a college lacrosse team plays only one game a week during the course of its season.
