It wasn’t the first time this year a Penn State team had raced out to a big lead at Ohio Stadium.
In October, the football team did the same. However, on that day Ohio State came back. On Saturday afternoon, the Nittany Lions men’s lacrosse team only kept growing their lead aside from short Buckeyes run. By the end of the day, coach Jeff Tambroni’s squad had taken a 12-4 win on the road to start Big Ten play.
Right from the first face-off, goalie Colby Kneese was in the zone. His 11-save first-half performance left the Nittany Lions out front 6-3 at halftime.
