Penn State men’s lacrosse hosts Towson in first round of NCAA tournament

Postseason lacrosse is coming to Happy Valley.

No. 7 Penn State, who earned an at large bid to the NCAA tournament, will face Colonial Athletic Association conference champions Towson in the first round.

“I do believe we will be battle tested,” coach Jeff Tambroni said. “I think we’ve learned a lot from the entire season and i'm hopeful that we can take all those lessons will be with us when we play on Saturday.”

The Nittany Lions’ attackmen have been dominant all season, and Towson coach Shawn Nadelen has taken notice.

“Those guys are loading up the scoreboard,” Nadelen told reporters on Tuesday.
