PHILADELPHIA -- Penn came out flying, but Penn State weathered the storm and never looked back.
After falling behind 4-0, the Nittany Lions scored six-straight goals to lead by two at halftime before nailing down a 10-7 win at famous Franklin Field.
Upset twice in the opening month of the season, the Nittany Lions were unranked and underdogs for the first time all year. They were facing a 14th-ranked Penn team that knocked off previously-No. 1 Duke a week ago and were full of confidence.
While that showed early, the Nittany Lions looked like the team everyone thought they could be over the final 40 minutes.
