Over the first two weeks of the season, Penn State has been narrowing its list of what needs to be improved to be ready for the tough stretch of Big Ten games that awaits.
Against Villanova, a game which ended in an overtime loss, the coaching staff found needed to focus in on the Nittany Lions’ defensive effort.
Depth, much like the defensive effort the week prior, was the issue in the Nittany Lions’ win over Hobart.
The matchup against Stony Brook on Saturday will be dedicated to improving that unit.
Depth at midfield is the primary focus.
