Collegiate sports like football and basketball are followed religiously by a countless number of fans.
Lacrosse, on the other hand, is not quite there yet.
Penn State men’s lacrosse joined the Big Ten in 2015 . In their second year in the conference, the Nittany Lions remain undefeated after three games .

With the help of the sport’s newfound coverage, it is on the horizon of much bigger things. Recently, Big Ten men’s lacrosse started to air on networks like ESPN and the Big Ten Network.
“There is a huge buzz about the Big Ten right now, and I think it was because it’s brand new, and any time something comes out and is brand new, it is generally more publicized and talked about,” coach Jeff Tambroni said.
