New year, new me seems to be the motto for Penn State through 2025, as its season looks to have finally found the spark it needed.
After picking up their first conference win of the season, downing No. 1 Michigan State and completing a commanding 4-0 victory over Canisius Friday night, the Nittany Lions kept their momentum rolling into senior night with a 3-2 win on Saturday.
Sticking with a similar theme to Friday night where the blue and white outshot the Golden Griffins 38-18, the offensive attack began early.
The Nittany Lions’ first opportunity came just over three minutes into play, after Matteo Giampa was called for slashing and sent the home team to the power play.
