Road games at Clarkson, St. Lawrence and Minnesota is not an easy way to a start a season.
But finally, Penn State will come back to Pegula Ice Arena tgus weekend.
“Sometimes you can say having a road trip early is beneficial,” coach Guy Gadowsky said. “But we’re ready to be at home.”
The Nittany Lions will play their home opener on Thursday against American International.
Penn State opened its season with a 2-1 loss at Clarkson, then claiming its first victory of the season at St. Lawrence. Last weekend, the Nittany Lions split at Minnesota, winning Friday 3-1, then losing Sunday 6-3.
