Penn State men's hockey gets back to basics, downs Wisconsin in overtime

It would be a gross, debilitating understatement to say The Roar Zone merely helped Penn State beat Wisconsin on Friday night.

It was Guy Gadodwsky’s team’s first game of the 2016 calendar year with The Roar Zone in its corner.

“Fantastic to have The Roar Zone back,” Gadowsky said in his opening statement. “They were huge.”

David Goodwin, who scored the overtime winner for the Nittany Lions (14-4-3, 4-1-0 Big Ten) in a 4-3 final score, noticed The Roar Zone included a brilliantly executed “S-Zone,” and didn’t hold back on its magnitude, or a shot at the Beaver Stadium version.
