Almost a year ago, Denver ended Penn State’s season.
Now, the Nittany Lions will be looking to end theirs.
The Pioneers will travel to Allentown to take on Penn State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, the NCAA announced on ESPNU Sunday. The game is set to begin at 7 p.m. Saturday and will air on ESPN3.
If the Nittany Lions win, they’ll face the winner of Ohio State and Princeton the following day, with the winner of that game going to the Frozen Four in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Penn State is 2-1-1 against the Buckeyes this year.
