It wasn’t an accident that Guy Gadowsky scheduled just one game, rather than the usual two, for its weekend series with Princeton.
Gadowsky said that he hopes having one game this Friday will give his players more than enough time to get ready for final exams, which begin the following Monday.
“There’s a high expectation of academic success in this program,” Gadowsky said. “And if you look at our last year’s GPA, it was a 3.28. They [the players] know that and I think they’re motivated by it…and they certainly want to continue that standard.”
Since Princeton is a part of the Ivy League, it plays just 29 games a season.
