Penn State men's hockey closes out sweep over Niagara

Penn State certainly had to play a more competitive game against Niagara on Saturday.

Following an 8-2 win over the Purple Eagles on Friday, the Nittany Lions grinded out a 4-1 victory on Saturday to complete the sweep and go to 4-0-0 on the season.

With the game tied 1-1 going into the third, Penn State quickly netted a couple to turn the game in its favor.

A minute into the third, Chase Berger finished off a rebound and tucked it past goalkeeper Cole Weaver to give the Nittany Lions the lead.

Three minutes later Alex Limoges took an Evan Barratt pass from behind the net and beat Weaver blocker side to make it 3-1.
