The Nittany Lions have clawed their way back to victory.
Penn State entered its Tuesday night matchup against Colgate on a six-game losing streak, dropping three back-to-back series to No. 3 Minnesota, Wisconsin and No. 6 Michigan. The Nittany Lions snapped their losing streak and defeated the Raiders 3-2.
Penn State’s aggressive form of offense paid off as it outshot Colgate 42-27.
Goaltender John Seifarth, who played for the club team last year, earned his first career start after replacing Noah Grannan midway through the third period against Michigan on Saturday. Against the Wolverines, Seifarth saved eight of the 11 shots he faced.
