The first day of NCAA National Letter of Intent's early signing period was a busy one for coach Guy Gadowsky and Penn State.
Three players signed their NLI's to play for the Nittany Lions on Wednesday. Liam Folkes of the CCHL's Brockville Braves, Nikita Pavlychev of the USHL's Des Moines Buccaneers and Nate Sucese of the USHL's Dubuque Fighting Saints are the newest members of the 2016-17 recruiting class.
Folkes, a Scarborough, Ontario native, scored 72 points (37 goals, 35 assists) in 60 games for Brockville in 2014-15, and has scored 23 points in 22 games so far this season.
