Brennan Pantazis is only a freshman, but that did not stop him from making history Saturday night as he took home the second Big Ten floor tile in Penn State men’s gymnastics history.
The Sparks, Nevada native notched a 14.275 on the floor to secure first place on the podium in the individual event finals.
Sophomore Stephen Nedoroscik, who is the reigning national champion in the pommel horse, also secured a first place finish with a 14.475 in this event.
“Outstanding individual effort tonight by our guys tonight, all around,” coach Randy Jepson said. “Crowning two champions and couldn’t be prouder of everyone’s individual effort.
