Penn State senior Trevor Howard had a standout performance in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio, grabbing the top score in the high bar of the Big Ten Championships individual events finals. He took home the event crown, which marks the third of his career in the Big Ten Championships, by being the only competitor in the field to land cleanly on his dismount earning 14.575.
Howard was one of five Nittany Lions competing in seven different routines in the finals. Among the gymnasts donning the blue and white, three finished in the top five of their events, including Howard, Dominic DiFulvio and Leroy Clarke, Jr.
