Penn State's Cole Miller may not have finished the way he would have liked at the British Amateur earlier this week, but his week just got a whole lot better.
On Thursday, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced its 2017 Division I PING All-America teams and the Nittany Lion rising senior was named to the honorable mention team.
Miller had a strong spring season for Penn State which saw the Pennsylvania native pick up five individual wins (three full-field), including the NCAA Washington Regional.
The Nittany Lions finished fifth at the regional, good enough to advance to their first NCAA Championship since 2010.
