Penn State men’s golf tops West Virginia

KISSIMMEE, Fla.

Paced by a 1-2 finish for Cole Miller and Charles Huntzinger, Penn State beat West Virginia in a dual meet at the Reunion Resort on Saturday.

The Nittany Lions posted a 17-over 377 on the 7,219-yard Nicklaus Course, led by Miller’s even-par 72 and Huntzinger’s 73. They were followed by 77s from JD Hughes and Alec Bard and 78s from Christian Elliott and Ryan Dornes.

The Mountaineers posted a 26-over 386, led by Chris Williams’ 74.
