Penn State is on the verge of making its first NCAA final since 2010.
In a weather-delayed second round of the 54-hole NCAA Washington regional, strong play from all the Nittany Lions' scorers — especially Cole Miller and Ryan Davis — helped the team climb up to fourth place on the leaderboard.
Their two day total of 578 is two strokes ahead of the fifth place Alabama Crimson Tide and three strokes better than the sixth place Washington Huskies.
Where Penn State stands: If the leaderboard stays as is through tomorrow, Penn State would be on its way to its first NCAA final since 2010.
