Penn State men's golf falls out of position on day 2 of NCAA Columbus Regional

With one round to go in the NCAA Columbus Regional, Penn State has work to do in order to advance to the National Championship.

Needing a top-5 finish to move on to the NCAA National Championship in Stillwater, Oklahoma in two weeks, the Nittany Lions slipped a spot from fifth to sixth after the second round of the Regional. Penn State posted an 11-over 295 on Tuesday and is 20-over for the tournament.

Where Penn State stands: No. 13 Texas Tech leapfrogged the Nittany Lions with a 4-over 288. Penn State will have to make up 3 shots separating the two teams in the final round on Wednesday.
