The bright lights just seem to bring the best out of Tony Carr.
As he has countless times this season, the sophomore point guard carried his team to victory in the biggest moments when the lights are shining brightest –– but his performance on Thursday night might have been his most impressive to date.
Back in November, Carr scored a career-high 33 points against then-No. 16 Texas A&M during the team’s loss in the championship game of the Legends Classic.
Thursday night inside Madison Square Garden, often referred to as the “Mecca of Basketball,” Carr came up big once again.
