After a standout senior campaign, Josh Reaves will get a chance to prove himself in front of an important audience.
The 2018-19 Defensive Player of the Year in the Big Ten was selected to the 2019 Portsmouth Invitational Tournament roster on Monday, and will compete in as many as three games this week in front of professional scouts from every NBA team, as well as several international leagues.
A two-time member of the Big Ten All-Defensive team, Reaves became the only player in the Big Ten to lead the league in steals in three consecutive seasons. He ended his career second on Penn State’s all-time steals chart and ranks seventh on the Big Ten career list.
