The fans that packed into the Bryce Jordan Center on Tuesday night could feel themselves getting nervous as their Nittany Lions held just a 45-38 lead over St. Francis going into halftime — the tightest margin they’ve held at half up to that point in the season.

All the concern was in vain however, as Penn State exploded in the second half to run away from the Red Flash and secure a 92-62 victory to mark the first time it has scored 90-plus points in three consecutive games in 29 years.
