Penn State men's basketball signs talented recruiting class

When receiving a verbal commitment from a recruit, Penn State coach Patrick Chambers tweets “It’s a great day to be a Nittany Lion.” On Wednesday, Chambers repeated that statement four times in what may have been the best day of his career as the Nittany Lions’ coach.

Wednesday marked the opening of the early signing period for NCAA men’s basketball around the country, and the Lions made the best of it, officially securing four recruits for the class of 2016.

Tony Carr and Lamar Stevens – both four-star recruits according to 247sports.com – coupled with Nazeer Bostick and Joe Hampton – both three-star recruits – all signed their letter of intent to play for the Lions next season.
