With Penn State trailing by 17 late in the first half, Josh Reaves was once again the hero for the Nittany Lions.
The freshman guard hit a layup with 5:03 left in the first half to give the Lions (8-3) their first field goal in nearly three minutes, sparking a streak of 12 straight points to cut the Drexel (1-8) lead to five.
Reaves alone was responsible for seven of those points. He ultimately contributed nine off the bench in the Lions' first game since a Return to Rec tilt against Louisiana-Monroe.
After narrowing the gap at the half against the Dragons, the Lions matched every point in the second.
