When Penn State takes the court for the first time this season on Nov. 10, four new freshmen faces will be with the team.
Helping coach Pat Chambers lead these newcomers will be the coaching staff’s own fresh face — Jim Ferry.
Ferry, who has spent 18 years as a head coach, enters the Penn State program after a five-year stint at Duquesne. His time with the Dukes ended this past March when his team finished 10-22 on the season.
Despite his recent struggles at Duquesne, Ferry brings a vast offensive knowledge and experience of turning an abysmal LIU-Brooklyn program into a frequent NCAA Tournament invitee.
