With its loss to Ohio State, Penn State has dropped three games in a row. The loss to the Buckeyes is, in large part, due to the blue and white’s struggles to crash the glass and come down with rebounds.
The Buckeyes garnered 41 rebounds in Rec Hall. In comparison, the Nittany Lions only came down with 23 boards – only four of which came from their offense.
“When you get stuck in a hole and you have that adversity, you just have to compete and be a savage about it,” coach Mike Rhoades said about the lack of physicality when fighting for rebounds.
