Led by strong senior leadership, Penn State tallied its most important win of the season on Wednesday night, a 79-75 upset victory over No. 4 Iowa in the Bryce Jordan Center.
Boosted by a career-high 19 points from Donovan Jack, the Nittany Lions dominated the Hawkeyes both on the bench (29 bench points to 10) and in the paint (28 post points to 20).
After struggling with his 3-point shooting over the last three contests, Penn State point guard Shep Garner rediscovered his strong shooting stroke, drilling four treys and tallying 18 points along with a team-high four assists.
