ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. –– Pat Chambers looked like a man searching for answers.
After an 89-78 defeat at the hands of NC State, Chambers didn’t even deliver an opening statement at the postgame press conference for the first time all season, instead going straight to questions, a clear sign he was less than pleased with the outcome of the game.
The Nittany Lions now sits at 5-5 with just three more games remaining in the nonconference schedule.
A few years ago, considering the tough schedule Penn State has played and the win over No. 13 Virginia Tech, being 5-5 would cause for celebration.
