In the City of Sin, Penn State managed a win.
After falling to Colorado State by just one point on Tuesday night, the Nittany Lions rebounded less than 24 hours later to secure a crucial 75-69 victory over Kent State in the team's final game of the Las Vegas Classic.
With leading-scorer Shep Garner slowed by foul trouble and a tough night offensively, coach Patrick Chambers was forced to rely on other options to get the scoring job done in the Lions' final non-conference game of the season.
As it turned out, Brandon Taylor was that other option and much, much more.
